Placed in the heart of the resort, only 20 meters away from the beach, the former Bucharest Hotel was taken over in 1999 by the great Romanian football player, Gheorghe Hagi. Immediately after considerable investments and a modernising program, the hotel was brought to higher standards. Thus, 2 years later, on the 4th of July, 2001, a brand new 4 stars hotel rose on the map of Mamaia resort - IAKI Conference & Spa Hotel. The excellent setting of IAKI Conference & Spa Hotel in Mamaia with its sea side or lake view, the fine gold sanded beach which is caressed day and night by the sea-breeze, the crystal clear waters of the Black Sea, the relaxing and exclusive atmosphere are only a few elements that transform IAKI Conference & Spa Hotel into a special location amongst hotels in The Black Sea.

We would like to inform you that until April 17, 2025, the main body of the hotel is under maintenance.

Therefore, the following services will be impacted:

• Upgrade to a superior room type

• Sea view

• Outdoor terrace

• Access to the spa center through the hotel interior

You will continue to benefit from accommodation in the reserved room type, Standard Double, in the secondary body of the hotel, with or without breakfast in the Casino restaurant.

The entrance to the hotel will be made from the side, on the left side of the hotel (please check the attachment to see the hotel map).

The Casino restaurant will be open for:

• Breakfast, between 07.30-10.00

• A la carte service, between 12:00-22:00

• Lounge Bar, between 10.00-22.00

If you wish to purchase access to the wet area of the spa center (indoor pool, wet/dry sauna, jacuzzi and fitness room) please note that access will be from outside the hotel .

The spa center is equipped with changing rooms.

Excellent service

We stayed in the hotel 3 days. Excellent service, staff professional and friendly atmosphere. They would have gone over the moon for us. Food was varied and fresh and the pool and beach were extremely clean and well maintained. We were very lucky as the weather was gorgeous and it wasn't too crowded either. We would stay there any time.

Very good choice! Very nice stay

I chose Iaki because I found on the TripAdvisor with good review. That was an excellent choice!!! The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The suite was very clean. The food (breakfast, lunch and few times dinner) was tasty and much to chose. The staff from the pool very nice. The guys from the beach bar very nice. Was the best vacantion for a familly with 3,5 year old child. That was also a good surprise!!! I will recommand IAKI!!!!

Nice weekend

We just spent a Weekend in Mamaia in Iaki hotel. Firtst of all we didn 't have reservation but while I was driving from Bucharest my wife speak by phone with a very nice lady in charge with reservation ( Cristina ) and she fixed the problem for us . She gave us a special deal for a double and in top of this when we arrived she said we can get a superior double with seaview for same money because somebody cancel the reservation. Room was great with a huge terrace facing the sea, very clean with all facilities. Brekfast very good , and the staff OK The pool very clean , the beach area they can impruve a beat We'll be back

Superb and Dependable

There is something about this hotel that makes it an ideal choice; I don't worry about a thing! The service and food are always good quality and served as a buffet style (we did half board breakfast and lunch). Pool is very well maintained with outstanding service from the pool staff alongside the entertainment. Zumba and Aqua Gym being popular choices. The beach is 10m away across a pedestrianised zone. The bedroom is well appointed, but there are just about ready for a lick of paint.

Friendly staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Good selection of breakfast buffet. Great swimming pools. Ideal for getting to the beach. This place is a great value hotel.
